Celebrating Life Together is a small-group study on marriage. Both intensely biblical and immensely practical this study will benefit couples who are either soon-to-be-married, newly married, or those who have been married for some time. A fun engaging study that is both practical and informative. Now, more than ever, the sacrament of marriage IS under attack. Many within our "secular” society endeavor to blur the definition and meaning of marriage. But as sacred Scripture and the Church teach, "Marriage is not purely a human institution despite the many variations it may have undergone through the centuries.. ." (CCC). Rather for Catholics, Christian marriages and Christian families are the foundational building blocks of a vibrant and dynamic Church and an essential ingredient in the propagation of the faith. Celebrating Life Together was specifically developed and field-tested for use within Catholic communities to form and strengthen Christian marriages. Both intensely biblical and immensely practical, this eleven-part study examines topics such as understanding your spouse, husband and wife roles, and effective communication. This study will benefit couples who are either soon-to-be married, newly married, or those who have been married for some time. If a person has a good marriage it will be made better, if a marriage is damaged this can be the beginning of the repair process, if a couple is newly married this study will help lay a strong foundation that will last for a lifetime. Celebrating Life Together is a fun, engaging study on a critically important subject. In addition, because young couples are often teachable and desirous of knowing how they can have a strong marriage, or receive help for their marriage, it is a great evangelization tool. Celebrating Life Together teaches that Christ is the foundation of marriage and that a personal response to Christ as Savior and Lord is essential to a happy marriage. Studying with a group who are not-believers and followers of Christ, will enable a Christian couple to develop redemptive relationships that will deepen and flourish, and hopefully bring the non-believing couple home to Christ. |
